Graduates of the annual Citizen Police Academy hosted by the Lakeland Police
Department are eligible for membership in the Alumni Association. These
members are dedicated to continuing their volunteer involvement with LPD
in a variety of ways.

The Citizen Police Academy
Alumni Association has a fund raising project underway to purchase at least
one K-9 police dog. We are asking for donations to support this most
important fund raising project. We hope we can count on your support

- Following 15 weeks of instruction into all facets of department operations,
a total of 47 participants received their graduation certificates from
Chief of Police Roger Boatner.
